That 12th round KNOCKDOWN decided the TRILOGY!!!

You will never see anything like that ever again. Not ever again for your entire life.

You will never see a trilogy that hangs in the balance in the final round. Just unbelievable.

Had Vazquez not charged out like a bull in round 12 and knock Marquez down, it becomes a draw and you have a 1-1-1 score. Instead, he DID score the KD and he DID win the trilogy.

I cant say enough about the guts that took for Vazquez, and i think thats one of the best trilogies of all time.

Castillo - Corrales I was better. Gatti - Ward I, II and III were better. Barerra I, II and III were better. Props nonetheless for this scrap.

It is definitely up there with the best trilogies of all time, I feel very privileged to have witnessed these two give their blood and guts in the ring.

The knockdown in the last round of Chacon vs Limon IV decided the series but I agree that this was one of the most eventful and most entertaining trilogies of all time.

Castillo - Corrales I was better. Gatti - Ward I, II and III were better. Barerra I, II and III were better. Props nonetheless for this scrap.
I disagree. Only the first fight was really good IMO.

Barrera-Morales 2nd and 3rd fight dont come close to the 2nd and 3rd fight of Marquez-Vazquez IMO,i truly dont think they do,Barrera-Morales II wasnt too exciting,Marquez-Vazquez II was one of the best fights ive seen,it was brutal,Barrera-Morales III was great, but Marquez-Vaquez III had much more action and is maybe the best ive ever seen, not to mention had KDs and a mindblowing drama-filled 12 round
