I cant say enough about the guts that took for Vazquez, and i think thats one of the best trilogies of all time.

Castillo - Corrales I was better. Gatti - Ward I, II and III were better. Barerra I, II and III were better. Props nonetheless for this scrap.

how can you compare Gatti v Ward with Castillo/Corrales Barrera/Morales, etc ?? Gatti and Ward were two bums fighting each other, give me a break... Marquez - Vazquez is up there as one of the best of all time no doubt.

Castillo-Corrales was better, thats the best ever IMO.

But Gatti-Ward 2 and 3 dont come CLOSE. No where near it. Those werent even that good of fights.

And Barrera-Morales 1 and 2 werent as good, but i thought 3 might have been better then this trilogy. I think round for round, Marquez-Vazquez was the more thrilling trilogy.

Barrera-Morales had an intensity that hasn't been matched since though, and probably not many times before.

I think these three fights were so good that quite a few people care about them. It's an injustice to both Marquez and Vasquez that by saying nobody cares about them it doesn't go down as equal or better than both those trilogies.

I agree that Gatti and Ward aren't bums because that's a discredit to them for giving it their all in those fights and in others, but at the same time I don't think their skill level is at the same level as Marquez and Vasquez.
