Ermmm he's British through and through. He was born and raised in Britain for 12 years, the fact he was born there should end the arguement anyway. He them spend 11 years in Canada learning AM boxing there then moved back to England and found his professional trainer there and trained there until moving with Steward. He won the BRITISH and commonwealth Heavyweight titles and said himself that he considers himself British.

Don't get me wrong Canada doesn't produce any good boxers ether, probably because we have British ancestory.

That's kind of moot, because Americans are British in ancestry and alot of Canadians are French in ancestry as well.

The Queen of England is still the head of state in Canada. Long story short Canadians are British folk in disguise.

Canada has nothing to do with England. The only thing the Queen has to do with Canada with head of state is purely ceremonial. It is Canada paying respect to it's history and that is it.

On that note Lennox is A Brit. He was born a Brit and only got his training in Canada. That is all.

Canada trained him as an AM, most people agree he was 100x better as a pro with Steward, does that make him american?
