**** that should have been clear for awhile.
Yeah but either way dirty tactics are always perceived as. I honestly don't care unless they're just so ****ing wrong and the timing was awful

    *Trinidad v.s. Vargas*

Un-****ing-Real cheapness by Tito to the max. That was shameless.

Well Hatton was on Mayweather's ass all night, that's why elbows were constantly used. If you watched the Judah fight you could see a couple of them in 12 rounds. (If you watched the Chavez fight, it would be hard not to notice.)

The striking thing to me in the Hatton fight is that Mayweather is so fluid with his tricks (and the holding was rarely seen before).

          Pedroza-Laporte.

It was funny to watch Pedroza actually reach over the top of Laporte so he could hit him in the back.

It was also funny when the ref goes "keep em up" after a low blow, so Pedroza hits Laporte with an uppercut to the testicles. Then the ref warns him again.

What does Pedroza do immediately after this warning?

          Hits Laporte on the thigh.

Well, then... Again, go watch more boxing or get a new pair of glasses that dont work only for the Mayweather fights!

La Porte is a man who has been in a lot of tough fights! I wonder how he is doing now.

Dumbass, it's starts with his shoulders which is part of his defense. But like every other time I've debated with you in the past, when you have no evidence you come up with some off topic ****. Funny thing is you're being off-topic and still wrong, you don't know anything about defense or boxing.

You sure are dumb, for a person that tries hard to be boxing historian.

I really have to go now, I know you are just like Bozo and this will continue tell Christmas. So I will try to reply to your garbage tomorrow.
Damn man, you're a real dip****. Can't you see what the guy's trying to say? He doesn't care enough to show the videos understandably, but really, if you can't see that Mayweather is a dirty fighter, you're as blind as a bat. He's not trying to say Mayweather is bad or a **** fighter, he's just saying what is actually happening.

Mayweather is brilliant. One of the characteristics of all great fighters is they know all the tricks and they generally get away with the majority of them. As he said, guys like Duran, Fenech, Greb, Hopkins, Ali etc. were all great at this exact type of thing. It's not an insult to Mayweather in the slightest and if you can't see that he was complimenting him, while just telling the truth, then you are the one that sure is dumb.

All the stuff that has been talked about in this thread, like his elbows, ducking below the waist, rabbit punching etc, is all illegal. Doesn't matter whether it's part of his defense or offense. Kicking someone in the nuts is good offense but it's still illegal. The simple fact is it's illegal. You can't put your elbow into someones face or neck to block, move, position or attack nor does it matter whether Hatton was supposedly walking into it.

Anyway, for all the Mayweather nuthuggers - What he does is illegal. Period. But, it doesn't matter. He doesn't win fights based on illegal tactics. He's a brilliant fighter who knows all the tricks. Even his dirty tactics takes more skill than most other dirty tactics!!! lol.
For all the Mayweather haters - Get over it. He's dirty, so what? So is Hatton. You could make the exact same type of video showing Hatton fouling the hell out of Tszyu and the ref helping him to get away with it. Tszyu never said a damn thing about the refs or Hattons tactics at all. It was also much more blatant than the Mayweather/Hatton fight although the ref wasn't as overtly bad. Either way, it sucks that that's how it played out and that Cortez was so dodgy but that is how it played out. Hatton lost, one day Mayweather will. Then the Mayweather fans will ***** about dirty tactics. lol!

I don't understand why all this has created such a big, argumentative thread. I thought everyone knew and agreed that Mayweather was dirty. He uses the same tactics in every one of his fights and always has. He has elbowed, rabbit punched, ducked below the waist and all the stuff that is shown in that video since he started his pro career. Again though, nearly all fighters are dirty to an extent. Some are better than others or more subtle. It's part of the game, just like Cottos low blows to get himself out of trouble against Judah. Sometimes it can ruin a fight or change the outcome or sometimes it's just a small part of a fighters style that doesn't really effect a fights outcome too much. Mayweather is good at being dirty but he's also great at fighting.

why are you allowed to post pictures in your avatar that are intentionally inflamatory in nature? the idiots on this site dont know that senator ***** was wearing traditional keynan attire on a simple diplomacy visit. you probably dont either you dumbfck. this is one of the most racist forums on the internet, including the white supremecist ones. almost every single fcking topic has racist undertones. im leaving and i dont give a fck about you idiots, but open some ****ing books. everybody talks about getting banned???? wtf does it take, a death threat? im out. i know nobody wants to respond, so have your fun with your little fggot cyber space race riots. and remember kids, even though floyd is clearly the most skilled fighter in the world, he is still black, so he cheats and deserves no credit

                  • I remember on 24/7 for the PBF vs DLH fight. I think DLH questioned Freddy Roach about his notion of Oscar charging on PBF immidiately after the break.

"**** it! This is a fight! This is a fight!" or close along them lines.

It's a hard sport and this isn't the Ams. PBF gives as much as he gets. Consider this.... the fans are complaining, but have you ever heard his opponents complain?

Hatton didn't - he only complained when the ref kept intervening between them both! For every hold and butt Hatton did, PBF had an elbow and turned his back. Tit for tat.

Let the fighters fight, Floyd has a large book of tricks, just like all the other fighters. It's called ring craft. Deal with it.
