I gotta go with Ike Ibeabuchi and Corrie Sanders on the heavyweight front.
One went to prison, the other went golfing in their primes.

Both had a ton of natural talent and huge power and for the most part pissed it away save an effort or two.

Agreed. Meldrick fought the best and often fought in a brawling Philly style when he didn't have to. He also fought on longer than he should have. I believe in his later years he was denied a boxing license.

I suppose Reid should've gotten a new eye or something so he could fight on.
