Yup, so Hopkins beat the best southpaw Lacy beat, and beat the best southpaw Lacy has sparred with.

He also beat a pretty good defensive southpaw in John David Jackson, although he was probably a bit past it.
it was not directed toward you. it was for the haters that don't understand the history of this sport. i don't care if you don't like the fighter but at least respect them. i do not have to diss joe to make a point

Tell you what I'm looking forward to. When you try and tell me that 11-0 vs southpaws is more impressive than Calzaghes 35-0 vs orthodox fighters....

it only looks more impressive cause it very hard to fight southpaws, and very few has done that. let alone his last two fight was vs. them and they top 10 p4p at the time

Surely southpaw fighters face the same difficulties with orthodox fighters? Making Calzaghe the more impressive.....

And P4P is right, winky was nowhere near the same weight as hopkins....

Corrales knocked out almost everyone at 130, and Mayweather didn't.

Was that really significant when it came down to who was actually better between the two?

Same thing between Hopkins and Lacy. The fact that Lacy knocked him out doesn't mean he did better against him.

                  MAN YOU ARE DUMB..

the difficulties are because the numbers of south paws are WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY less then the number of orthodox fighters. SO NO...

joe facing south paws is considered just as difficult even though joe south is south paw, because there are very few south paws to gain experience from fighting. Joe fighting orthodox fighters isnt a disadvatage because there are so many ..

George Foreman said that both Winky Wright and Bronco McKart were looking at exactly what they didn't want to see across the ring, because even though they were just looking at another southpaw, which should be like two orthodox fighters fighting one another, it is still something that they almost never see. They would be much more comfortable with an orthodox fighter.
