I kinda think if he accpets that fight Ricky would lose ton of respect from boxing fans because why fight a guy way smaller? just cause he is a huge name in boxing as opposed to the best 140 pounder in the world who has been calling you out for almost 5 years?

What he means is thats exactly what Mayweather did when he fought Hatton, who was the smaller man, instead of Cotto or any other legitimate welterweight. Hatton should get Lazcano out of the way if thats whose he's going with first, then fight Malignaggi, Pacqiuao and then he should challenge Witter which would make an awesome last fight for him to retire afterwards.

Unfortunately this is boxing where things never seem to go like they should...but it would be great wouldn't it?
