    What if Calzaghe KO's Hopkins?

This is a real possibility, most wont admit it but it COULD happen. Would anybody here actually give Calzaghe any respect, or will Hopkins get less respect?

NOT GONNA HAPPEN. When has Hopkins ever been KO'ed? So now Joe is going to do it. Man Please!!!!! Joe might win, but not by a KO.

That is one BIG IF. It is possible but not likely.

Then it proves that Hopkins is completely shot and a win over him won't matter as much.

The only way I see B-Hop getting KO'd is if he is too old to see the punches coming anymore.

i agree with that, but if he did i would give him his respect. the real question will ya'll give bhop his if he win, and cry about head butts and holding with hitting? at the end of the day it part of the fight game.

There's little respect in winning this fight for Joe no matter how he does it. If it's by a decision people will say it's because B-Hop is old and "shot", ditto if it's by a stoppage.

I don't see Calzaghe KO'ing B-Hop. If he did though I would be impressed, but I know there would be tons of people on here claiming Bernard was shot and it didn't mean anything. Plus if B-Hop wins there will be excuses as well. I can only imagine what all the excuses will be on here.

I know he punches like a ***** now, but on his way up he was about the hardest hitter in boxing - knocking guys clean through the ropes with a bomb, etc. But he's struggled with both his weight and his hand since the Reid fight, and since the Lacy fight has looked power-less.

Wow, thats possibly the only correct thing I have ever seen you post. He has always struggled with his hands, and weight is an issue at SMW, but at LHW, if his hands hold up, he could quite easily floor and even KO B-Hop.

He hurt Kessler quite badly, late in the fight when he went to the body. When was the last time you ever saw Kessler hurt like that?

If he does he'd get respect, no doubt. Even a 43 year old Hopkins is better than most fighters in the business, so yes he'd get my respect.

And Yeah, I'd still say that would have never happened to a Prime Hopkins. I don't see how that's an excuse, it's true. Hopkins is past his prime, no doubt, and the only reason I think Hopkins may lose is because of age. Prime hopkins was damn near unbeatable.
