Hopkins hasn't even been knocked down in 13 years and I watched that fight last night and both knockdowns seemed like a decent punch and a push. Bernard was able to get back up and recover instantly. Now Calzaghe is miles better than Mercado and someone could try and argue that that 30 year old Bernard is better than the current "old, washed up" version (tell that to Winky and Tarver), but that is far from the truth.

Unless Bernard somehow ages overnight, and Calzaghe's hand heal completely overnight (or he wraps his hands 2 inches thick, like Trinidad or Mayweather), there's probably a 1% chance of Joe stopping him.

Here's hoping for a competitive, entertaining fight (yes I know, that's asking a lot.)

I think Hopkins has a better chance of knocking Calzaghe out then Cal does.

I don't think we will see any KO's, it will a boring fight with Calzaghe winning a close 7-5 UD win. Calzaghe face will not look pretty after this fight.

Is that because Bernard has had one KO/TKO in his last EIGHT fights (against a former 130 lb champ) or because Calzaghe hasn't lost a fight in 17 years?

Did I say Hopkins will KO Calzaghe??
Like I said, I don't think there will be an KO's in this fight, that's why I'm picking a boring close fight.
