...All of the Wlad fans were a bit dissapointed that he didn't really stamp his name on the Heavies and the American publics mind. It was also clear by his body language after the fight that Wlady was upset with himself. None of this is surprising or shocking news to Klitschko fans.

exactly. it isn't like klitschko fans tout this fight as one to remember. just happy that 2 people had the balls to put it all on the line and wladimir cam out victorious.

really though, his name should be stamped on the division. fact is that nobody is as exciting to watch or as skilled as wladimir klitschko. why does he have this one dominating yet somehwat boring performance and get grilled on here. well, one, he is not getting grilled by fans. he is getting grilled by the newbies to boxing and the people who never liked him in the first place.

so nothing really to worry about there.

two, he himself is always critical of his performance. so people who are disappointed with the performance should relax because he alone can redeem himself. posting thread after thread about how you think a throwback boxer with over 50 fights is scared of fighting is doing nothing more than taking up space. let's see you guys post this bull after the next fight.

Lamon Brewster was imo the last exciting heavyweight something always seemed to happen in his fights and he was involved in the last good heavyweight title fights. Not saying he is as good as wlad.
I find the post fight reaction to the wlad sultan fight very interesting we have one group of people who say its rubbish and another that seems to be getting very defence and think he performed well. Imo its in between these 2 wlad did a good job behind the jab he did enough to win and beat another title holder but you also have to admit that it wasn’t exactly the greatest performance ever. You can call it a masterful display of boxing because he did it almost one handed but imo if there is nothing wrong with your right and you don’t use it you have something missing from your game what ever your opponent does.

actually, dividing it into just two groups can't do justice here. i really haven't seen many people say he performed well. he did perform pretty damn good - no matter what your standards are. but even k fans would've liked to have seen a KO. no matter what, you can't say it was rubbish from a boxing standpoint.

and lennon - we know who you are! still bitter from the vitali beating? well, be a man and accept the rematch. *****!

                    you have some points there.

but, do you practice boxing? what is your experience in the game if you don't mind me asking?

i would've asked lennon the same question but it is clear he has absolutely no real life fighting training.

Just a big fan of boxing who has watched lots of fights I also have a massive collection of fights. I have done a bit of boxing training and I work out on my bag at home 5 days a week, I wouldn’t admit to being a good boxer and I would agree that I am not the most knowledgeable person on here but just because I am not a great boxer doesn’t mean I don’t know anything about the sport I think I know enough to make a reasonably good analysis of a fight.
