Bert really shouldn't do interviews when he's in a drunken stupour.

And he really didn't need to crap on all of the current boxers like that.

It was probably the worst heavyweight unification fight in history but I've seen worst fights throughout history. Primo Carnera would beat Klitschko, that's a ****** statement.

I agree with the rest of what he said though.

I suppose you watched previous unification bouts then?

Yes, I have watched a lot of heavyweight unification fights, this is probably the worst, not the worst title fight in history.

He is right man. Boxing is not in a good state. Now, the emphasis is on making the most money and fighting less. The emphasis is less on fighting and more on business. Besides maybe a dozen fights/fighters, the majority of boxers are here to make the big bucks in the least combative way possible. Back in the day, champs fought almost 4 times a year, fought the best, and title-holders for the most part usually personified the best in the division. Now, title holders are in majority NOT the best of the division, the best fight at MOST twice a year, and we all shell out the big bucks to watch them.

never really cared for bert sugar or his opinion.

this video is a textbook example of somebody who never got past the impact made on him by boxers while he was groing up. ninety nine percent of people have those "good ole days". for many 25 - 30 year olds, their good ole days are tyson, holyfield, and lennox lewis. for many present day 15 year olds, the klitschkos, pbf, etc are the fighters that are going to be mentioned as from the good ole days. it just goes to show the superficialness and lack of mental achievement.

even though i'm well aware of how short tempered and short on patience people seem to be, especially the last month or two, i am still a little surprised about how big of a deal not KOing sulty has become.

it's not that big of a deal. it's not like our unified champ is chris byrd or john ruiz! klitschko will redeem himself next.

I love sugar and although he's a little off sometimes. A lot of his words are very insightful and he always have a sharp comic flare. He loves boxing and he's always entertaining.

try mike tyson vs tony tucker.

same story as klitschko vs sulty.
