Winky prices himself out. He's bordering on delusional now. I think it's because he's been on the bad end of some decisions 2-3 times, and he wants to get paid just in case.

I think ultimately Pavlik will get his gloves on everyone at MW, and it will be exciting to watch so we will all be very well entertained!Comment

Thanks for the information and links. I appreciate it. I just needed to see it for myself. As far as the Mayweather-Cotto deal is concerned, YES I WANT THAT FIGHT! I believe that the fight will come off. I don't think that Mayweather HAS to fight Cotto to solidify his legacy. He has done some incredible things in the ring, and what he has accomplished speaks for itself. The demand for the fight is growing, which is AWESOME. Cotto is beginning to open his mouth, so yes. It has to go down! I don't think that Floyd should fight Oscar again, he proved he was better. Nor do I think Cotto should fight Gomez (I understand he needs to fight, but a better opponent). When the two get free, they MUST get it on!This is from an article on Espn.com- "Arum added that he has been in conversations with Sauerland Event, the German promoter for middleweight titlist Arthur Abraham (25-0, 20 KOs), who could wind up in the co-feature against Main Events' promoted Giovanni Lorenzo (26-0, 18 KOs).
"I've talked to Sauerland's people and they'd like to have Abraham fight here," Arum said. "That's how we're moving -- to end up with a Pavlik-Abraham fight. Kelly wants to stay at middleweight in 2008."
You don't seem to get that Winky expressed a more evident interest in Pavlik in the last week or so. Talks with Abraham's camps were already int he works. There is no doubt Pavlik is gonna fight everyone he can at Middleweight. But he can't just fight everyone who says his name. Winky will be on Pavlik's resume soon enough. Question: Since you are so interested in seeing good fights. Are you upset that Mayweather hasn't signed on to fight Cotto already? That is obviously the biggest fight in the world and a fight that Mayweather desparately needs to sign to help solidfy his legacy. Thoughts?Comment
