Give David Tua a title shot

Ike already delt with Chris Byrd, he knocked him out brutally I also wish that Ike had fought the likes of Holyfield, Bowe, Lennox ect because he had the tools to compete on that level. He was very technically polished and reminded me of a cruiserweight version of Evander Holyfield. It was scary to think about a fighter his size with all of that stamina, power, speed, skill, and ability. Its frustating to me when i think about him fighting the elites because i think that he would have beat them all. He already knocked out Byrd, (a former champion) and probably the only man in heavyweight history that could stand in front of prime David Tua and out slug him.

Yeah Ike was good, I don’t know if he could have beat the great heavyweights but he would have beat all the heavyweights of the early 00's except for maybe Lewis and ike had already beat byrd who for a short time was considered as the number 1 heavyweight. I always thought that a Ike Lewis rivalry would have kept interest in the division and could have made a great trilogy.
Tua needs to fight some contenders before he deserves a shot at the title.

Let Tua earn his way to a title shot. If he beats some quality opponents than yes he deserves a shot, but it not then no he doesn't deserve a chance.

I'm conservative ok. That word can mean a million different things now adays, I dont like to use it but I'll use it for lack of a better one. conservative social issues and some other things. Pat Buchanan is somebody I agree alot with.

However I have to ask how you can strongly support Ron Paul's philosophy or principles or policy as they apply to trade. If you apply what he thinks to trade he's for all out no holds barred international trade like a world wide Nafta. The current government is way too much like that. Think of what that does to the United States. It's a race to the bottom with Indonesia and China on labor and many other things. General Motors 'we're buying out 30,000 employees and hiring a smaller percentage of new ones at lower salary to be more competetive.' ok.The US government needs to tax the heck out of companies that use labor from those sort of countries so that what they're cutting in labor costs they'll pay in tax. It's not 'fair trade' if your playing on such uneven terms.

The State of Ohio has lost 250,000 jobs in manufacturing just since the year 2000. Think back to 1988, 1980, 1976, 1963 probably gone down since about 63. Going down faster and faster.

A real conservative wouldnt vote for a globalist and socialist who wants a global UN tax. Ron Paul wants to get out of NAFTA. Nafta is not free trade, it is managed trade by the corporate-politicians in each country to fatten their own pockets. Right now there is a NAFTA superhighway being built across the United states. The land will be taken from citizens through the Un-American ideology of eminent domain.

Obviously if foreign countries put tariffs on us, we will put tariffs on them.

Honestly, you can blame the Unions for the loss of jobs. Toyota is expanding its factories in the US because it is not held hostage by the Unions who demand artificially high wages and benefits. The same thing happened with US Steel.

I do agree though on some protectionism against foreign competitors, just because they may have some malicious intent, but a truly open economy always provides the best goods and services to the highest amount of people.

lol,,I still wonder to this day what byrd was complaining to the ref about? I dont think he even realized he was ever knocked down in the fight until he viewed it afterwards
