I got Showtime first off mainly because of the boxing. With ShoBox on Fridays and then the first Saturday of the month comes Showtime Championship boxing. After getting it though I found out their series are good as well. Dexter is probably the best show that isn't called the Wire, plus shows like Weeds, Brotherhood, and Tudors are good shows as well. Then the movies are good since they have different ones then HBO shows.

What about "Late Night" shows? Does it compare to Cinemax?

Cinemax and Showtime's late night shows are both wack, but Cinemax's are more frequent. What they lack in graphic nudity, they make up in storylines.

No it doesn't compare to Cinemax. It has a few good shows, but not like Skinemax.
