Freddie Roach has to face 2 Marquez's in March

Tough deal, huh? Israel Vasquez-Rafael Marquez on March 1 and then on the 15th Pacquiao-Marquez. Talk about pressure.

I hadn't heard, thanks. The last I remembered was Roach training Vazquez. I need to get Showtime.

apparently, the Vazquez Camp were not feeling the little attention Vazquez was getting from Roach. They felt they needed someone who would be able to dedicate themselves to Izzi. And as far as Showtime, you can add and remove whenever you want if you have Time Warner Cable.

I have Comcast though. I don't want to get charged for the whole month.

For me, it just isn't worth the money for Showtime. They don't have good movies or shows. Atleast on HBO, I can get the on-demand and watch Sopranos or The Wire. Showtime, all I get is Penn and Teller.

whats ironic though is both Marquez brothers will be fighting the fight of their lives in March against naturally stronger fighters who's best weapon.................is a left hand. some more comparisons

both marquez brothers were dropped by Vazquez/Pacquiao
both marquez brothers are better "boxers" than Vazquez/Pacquiao

thats all i could think for now.

Pacquiao and Vasquez are fighters, real experienced pros with fighting in their veins. They aren't going to outbox anyone but they know what they're looking at and understand that 1+2 will equal 3 and work with proven philosophies in there. Like Roberto Duran, who wouldn't outbox people but was more than some unskilled laborer.

The Marquez bros are complete fighters going against 2 guys that are tough as nails and don't give a damn. Sometimes it's those kind of fighters that can be more difficult than a technician. If the Marquez brothers find a way to win these fights, they go to the top of the sport and transcend it among their demographics. These are their proving grounds.

I got Showtime first off mainly because of the boxing. With ShoBox on Fridays and then the first Saturday of the month comes Showtime Championship boxing. After getting it though I found out their series are good as well. Dexter is probably the best show that isn't called the Wire, plus shows like Weeds, Brotherhood, and Tudors are good shows as well. Then the movies are good since they have different ones then HBO shows.
