Is Lennox Lewis one of the worst Commentators in history?

He points out the most obvious things that make you say...well DUH! Or...No ****. He can't speak properly without going cold half the time. Last night he couldn't say the word athletism. I mean ****, this man has no commentating skills at all. Obviously because he was world champ they let him commentate, but they gotta rethink it. I prefer Foreman 10x over this guy. Foreman at least was lively, funny at times, and said rediculous things that sometimes you had to think about for a second or 2. It made him seem smart even if he wasn't all there. Lennox on the other hand is a waste of a commentating chair. Bring back Roy! Now I realize just how damn good he was at commentating.

No offense, but learn to spell athleticism before criticizing someone's pronunciation of the word.

I would rate Max "Herpes" Kellerman as the worst commentator in history, not Lennox Lewis.

His voice is OK, I mean at least he gets ethusiastic about ****. He's not boring as Merchant can sound, the BAD crew generally is, and he's not Lennox. I still say Lennox is horrid. I haven't heard anything knowledgeable that he's said since he started commentating. Most of the time whatever words come out of his mouth irritate me because like I said, it's common sense **** that your watching he'll mention. He chokes a lot. I haven't heard Kellerman say too many ****** things, and I agree with a lot that he's said so far and he'll most likely take over for Lamply as the chief commentator once Lampley puts down his mic.

This will make me feel less guilty for watching british or chinese ppv broadcasts on sopcast.

I would have to disagree, I think he says tons of ****** things every fight. I think Lennox you can respect simply because of what he accomplished and assume what he says makes sense, even if the delivery is bad. Merchant and Kellerman are similar in that they dont really know the technicalities of boxing with one major difference: Merchant comes at things from a fans perspective and is the people's voice in intervies. Kellerman nuthuggs fighters and sides with the fighters over the fans.
