Is Lennox Lewis one of the worst Commentators in history?

He points out the most obvious things that make you say...well DUH! Or...No ****. He can't speak properly without going cold half the time. Last night he couldn't say the word athletism. I mean ****, this man has no commentating skills at all. Obviously because he was world champ they let him commentate, but they gotta rethink it. I prefer Foreman 10x over this guy. Foreman at least was lively, funny at times, and said rediculous things that sometimes you had to think about for a second or 2. It made him seem smart even if he wasn't all there. Lennox on the other hand is a waste of a commentating chair. Bring back Roy! Now I realize just how damn good he was at commentating.

I like lennox as a boxer but he is a horrible announcer. Did you hear him stumble over athleticism in the first or second round last night... it was hilrious. He seems nervous.

Lewis can be funny at times and can be informative but he does say some dumb stuff, maybe he needs more time to get comfortable.

Jones was a very good commentator and analyst apart from the occasional self promotion.

I've heard worse commentators but they were usually replaced very quickly.

I was more entertained by his commentary than the fight and I mean it.
Lewis' commentary was hilarious, whether it was intentional or not.

Foreman was the best though "the referee will be the most important man in the ring aside from the two fighters..."

          Hey guys!

          ITS LENNOX LEWIS!

Who cares he has the best insight to any heavyweight bout.

Jones and Foreman were better but they worked for years, i like Lennox its natural not scripted in any way.

Remember Tarver v Jones II when Foreman said "The most important guy in the ring to-nite is the referee"

Yeah, the funniest quote of the night normally comes from something he says.

L Lewis didnt do bad...yall are trippin

He points out the obvious or the basics mainly because the sport isn't rocket science...

I got tired of Lampley overdecorating the importance of a knockout win and discrediting any other type of win...

I would be happy to win with the Jab alone...

Nah, Lewis is cool, far better than Foreman who obviously has grudges against certain fighters, if you ever see Mayweather vs N'dou, formans commentary is awful, you would have thought n'dou was beating floyd the way that bastard was going on. Guy needs to stick to selling grills.

Lewis called the williams Quintana fight real nice, saying williams should back quintana up with the double/triple jab and work off that was a great call cos that could have won williams the fight.

Foreman used to say some weird things.

Lampley: "So George, are you saying Whitaker should be moving more?"
Foreman: "Whitaker shouldn't look at the referee, he should be his own man."
