If Ross Purity, Sanders and Brewster can ko Wlad then Haye would have a pretty good chance. As big as he is he is extremely fragile and is scared to death of being hit, i think his size and muscle mass are also detrimental to his stamina

I dont deny hes a good trainer but Sultan had over 100 amature bouts.

He should have got in his face and said look son your gonna lose on point either go out on your shield and try by dogging him or just do nothing and lose a clear UD.
I agree in that i dont rate Billy Graham, i believe most of his better known fighters defected from Brian Hughe's gym

Ibragimov said in an interview before the fight "I may win or I may lose, whatever Allah decides will happen."
He didn't sound very motivated to win before the fight and certainly didn't seem very motivated to win during the fight.

Sultan didn't look too disappointed after the fight either.

Yer ive gone off Sultan now he didnt even try at the end it was a see it through fight.

Like i said he tried to outbox Wlad didnt work he should have came foward he was losing anyway at least he could have got his shots off.

Mayweather was very quiet and didnt give any adivce apart from "Keep boxing" and "Pot shot"

I think he hits much harder than Wlad speed angles and power.

There was nothing they could realistically do to the size difference.
That's bull****. Mayweather has Sultan fighting too passively, too cautiously - he looked much better against 6'8" Lance Whitaker than he has since hiring Mayweather.

Sultan might have stopped the limited Briggs and the past prime Holyfield if he fought his old style that won him the Olympic Silver Medal. Mayweather has made him less of a fighter, not better!

The old-style Sultan would have made an entertaining fight with Wlad, and had a punchers' chance of winning.

he shoulda say go knock him the **** out

Exactly! It was obvious in the later rounds that Sultan needed a KO to win, but Jeff just stayed quiet instead of advising him to go for it.

Ibragimov could've also been knocked out by Briggs and Holyfield if he brawled with them. Sultan was hurt by Holyfield, down against Austin and Briggs can KO anyone with one punch, that's his best chance.

I wanted Ibragimov to KO them both too but Jeff Mayweather didn't want Ibragimov to take any unnecessary chances, which was smart but not entertaining.

Against Wlad he would've been knocked out cold if he tried to brawl, now he is one of the only men to go the distance against Wladimir.
Not that the performance raised his stock or anything but Ibragimov came out of the fight relatively unharmed, has lots of money on his bank account and is still a top 10 contender in the HW division.

Ibragimov was turned into a different fighter, not necessarily a lesser one or a better one.
But a 210 lbs brawler in the HW division today won't succeed unless he has a great chin or great power and Ibragimov has neither, just decent handspeed and skills that he can use to outbox lesser skilled opponents.

                  Ibragimov knocks down Austin.

                  Austin knocks down Ibragimov.

                  Briggs vs Lyakhovich last round.

Wlad weighed 238 pounds, not to heavy for a tall heavyweight like him and the lightest since 2000.

lmao. haye has yet to even knock out a descent heavyweight and he hits harder then the hardest hitting heavyweight? haye has been knocked out and hurt by cruiserweights. I cringe at the thought of him getting hit by a big punching heavyweight. your posts never cease to amaze me
