He made Sultan Ibragimov, a small heavyweight with decent speed, skills and average power, a WBO champion. Ibragimov used to be a cruiserweight (under 200 lbs) as an amateur and you can see it from his build.

There was nothing they could realistically do to the size difference.

As The Machine said, Jeff managed to transform Ibragimov into a world champion so he's a pretty good trainer, he does need to work on corner advice though.

I dont deny hes a good trainer but Sultan had over 100 amature bouts.

He should have got in his face and said look son your gonna lose on point either go out on your shield and try by dogging him or just do nothing and lose a clear UD.

Haye has superb footwork, a great jab and force a fight.

He also hit harder than Wlad imo.

Ibragimov never seemed very motivated to win the fight to me, not even before the fight.
He just went in there and did what he had to, he got some good money for it without taking much punishment.

Ibragimov said in an interview before the fight "I may win or I may lose, whatever Allah decides will happen."
He didn't sound very motivated to win before the fight and certainly didn't seem very motivated to win during the fight.

Sultan didn't look too disappointed after the fight either.
