    Could Kessler be a heavyweight?

    The guys a big boy.

I remember hearing once that he doesn't do much strength training. He has always been very naturally strong.

Could he put on a lot of weight to get to heavyweight lol, with some strength training. AKA James Toney?

Yeah, He could get up to 210 I think without much trouble. He wouldn't be that effective though.

He wouldn't be effective. But you don't have to be in the HW division. lol.

He could bulk up on muscle but it'd slow him down and his power won't move up with him, 40 pounds is a lot of muscle and fat to put on.

Toney's style allows him to be effective at any weight, Kessler's doesn't.

So with less power, and being slower. That means he will go well as a HW.

Do you think he could do anything in the division?

michael moorer made the transition, im not old enough to speak firsthand about it but i imagine most experts were very skeptical about him being "effective" as a heavy.

Michael Moorer had awesome power at 175, every fight he had there ended by KO, and it moved up with him but even then he was never a very good heavyweight.

I doubt he could do anything if he moves up, maybe he could be a contender but he won't be a champion. His body structure isn't suited to that amount of muscle and/or fat, if he moves up, he needs to keep his speed, if he doesn't, he gets beaten.
