** You don't even know what average is.

Vitali retired with the highest KO% of any champion in history. Got a late start in boxing and was willing to travel to the states where he has a strong following now. No glittering names, but good solid journeymen and contenders. Won almost every round contested as well, never knocked down, never behind the cards on any fight.

Wlad with 50 wins and 44 KOs, also won almost every round ever contested. Not as tough as his brother, but with more physical gifts. Dominated the three undefeated prime top contenders recently, Peter, Brock, and Ibragimov as well as dismantled one of the top contenders and champs of the era for a 2nd time, Byrd.

Now, your assignment is simple. Go back in time and tell us the last time there was a 31 yr old heavy champ with more than 50 wins and 44 KOs or with more than a 92% KO ratio.

I don't class sultan as true world champ he was jst a title holder. Wlad is not the best heavyweight champ but there are a few worst unified champs. Leon Spinks and primo carnera come to mind as worse than wlad.

Wlad stops the taller heavier McCline; who was actually a good fighter than.

Wlad makes quick work of the tall and reachy Ray Austin

So was the point of this thread that he would lose more if he fought guys his own size...

I like his fight with Derrick Jefferson.

That was somewhat funny in it's brutality.

It's a shame what Steward did to Wladimir.

Wladimir was an offensive machine. One of the best skillsets for a big man I have ever seen. Maybe even better then a prime Rid**** Bowe.

But Steward turned this guy into a plodding one punch fighter.

            Sad...

He didn't beat Foreman though that was a terrble decision, and infact that actually makes Briggs look worse getting a gift decision off a 47 year old grandad.

                  That's why I said "beat".

Foreman was actually older than 47 when he won 8 rounds against Briggs.

Yep he was 49. One of the worst decisions I've ever seen.

Good guy outside the ring and meh, if you ever wondered why many people don't like the HW division, see the fight again. I couldn't even see the whole of it, i quit in the 12th round before it ended :S Dull fight and so glad i didn't pay for the fight.
Jameel Mc'Cline, stood at 6'6 he dominated him in his prime. Davaryll Williamson is 6'4, Charles Shufford was 6'3, as was Monte Barret. If you haven't noticed their aren't too many fighters out their taller then him that enter into the top 10 rankings, not one maybe with the exception of Valuev.

To say he is the worst champion in history when you had people like Trevor Berbick, and John Ruiz holding the title. To claim that doesnt just make you look like a hater, but a complete idiot as well.
