I been following boxing for almost my whole life...and im thinking when will there b another black heavyweight champ(and i mean the real one..WBC... not the other alphabets) At first i though James Toney was gonna do it but he eat his life and career away. Then i thought that there was gonna b Calvin Brock but he failed.....Last there was Rahman who had the belt but forgot how to fight.. So all im asking will there b another one and n how long.

The next guy has to be over 6.5 ft tall to be dominant. That's the problem with the HW division. Black or white, no American can do it because they can't compete with the eastern guys in size. Sam Peter is perhaps the most overated peice of **** to ever put Boxing Gloves on...

So he beat James Toney.. big ****ing deal.. It isn't 1996 and Toney was never a legit heavyweight... any success at that level was the result of performance enhancing drugs..

Peter is pure Hype... ANd His fight with Klitschko was NOT close... I dont ****ing care about the knock downs.. which were Pushes and rabbit punches.. He Got totally dominated by a Guy who wasn't even trying..

I agree completely, in my eyes he is nothing but a fighter with no skills who clubs his way to victoy, and depends on power to win. I think any boxer with a decent chin and good boxing skills would school him. Can't believe people put him right under Wlad in the rankings.

No kidding at 26, he's gained most of the natural weight that he's going to. And at 6' 175, I seriously doubt he will be the next big thing at HW.

well he can fight with HW's and when he fights at 175 he is really really drained. he is gonna go up to cruiser but they want him to go up to hw because of the money. he's got the skills to do it, but they have to do it the right way and not like eddie chambers flabby ass.
