LOL at teddy atlas, ibragimov couldn't knock out ray austin, who wlad dusted in one round, or get rid of a 45 year old evander holyfield. iggi has good handspeed and i'm sure he'll come into the fight in great shape but he doesn't have the power to get wlad's chin

Remember how he always used to make fun of Kellerman's predictions? They couldn't have been worse than his.

I remember Teddy picking Lewis to win on the HBO special a week earlier, but his reasoning was "I believe in some good things, like things happening for the good of boxing", not the fact that Tyson was 14 years past his prime, giving up half a foot in height, a foot in reach, had fought once in the previous 19 months, etc..

Whoever Teddy predicts to win always go with the opposite.

I would swear under oath that the night before the fight during the ESPN boxing telecast he picked Tyson. I remember just shaking my head and thinking what an idiot he was.

Maybe he wanted to pick both sides, so he could claim later on that he was right.

Actually you're right, I remember him making the prediction as well, I was a bit shocked at it myself.

Atlas tends to be all over the place in big name fights, & really sharp with smaller "working" fights...
