I was at Maskaev vs Rahman 2, I really enjoyed the fight and was glad Oleg could pull it off.

I think your barking up the wrong tree with "The Machine" he's not a baised bitter hater.

If anything people like WLad_Owns turns people off because you can tell they mostly always pull for the "White" fighter.

But then there's a lot of others like DiegoFuego, Gunstar, !! SiN, Dios, Brother Blues, Sonofisis who discredit and bash white fighters at every opportunity.

Wlad Owns may root for his fellow Eastern European fighters, but he doesn't hate on black fighters the way DiegoFuego and the others hate on all the white ones.

A racist is someone who hates people of a certain race. Someone who roots for white boxers is not a racist, but if that person hated black fighters than he would be a racist.

We all have a little bias because we want to see our own do well, especially in boxing where the Nationalistic pride is big.

But people that will only cheer for a "White" fighter or a "Black" fighter or a "Brown" you know the drill, one thing is being nationalistic and another reason is being a bigot.

I think people are more turned off by the heavyweights, not because they aren't black americans. But because people don't know who these guys are, plus some of the fights have been boring, but Wlad is an exciting fighter and has been getting alot of press. I hope he can take over the division and bring some excitment to the big men.
