I've been one of the main people also arguing that Floyd should fight Cotto, however, it could be argued that Cotto was ducking Paul Williams just as much as Floyd is supposedly ducking him. and oscar is a bigger challenge then cotto. Floyd was almost robbed against oscar but thats history. hes gonna rite that by taxing oscar in the rematch again but cotto is easier than oscar. oscar is bigger and has more experience and better skills. the cotto fite would look like the hatton and baldy fites.

Floyboyz act as if its as easy as just "calling him out" Look at the great lengths Margarito went through to try and secure a fight with Floyd. He even interupted one of Floyd's press conferences. What did that get margarito, except BANNED from all future Floyd press conferences?

I think this is different. Cotto is different to Margarito.

-Cotto is the number 1 contender in the WW division.
-Cotto is on most pound for pound lists.
-Cotto has gained a lot of popularity in the last year.
-Cotto was smart not to call Floyd out too early, or we would have in fact had a repeat of the Margarito situation. By calling him out now he capitalises on the aforementioned points.

Cotto is the best welter after Floyd, people recognise this. This fight will happen we just need to be patient.
