my opinion is the fight was meaningless. that happens to be a fact as well. the rematch is even more meaning less and wont do HALF the numbers it did the first time.....

you cant judge what Cotto and Floyd would do based on Cotto/ Mosley..

Ricky hadnt had a PPV yet and look what he and Floyd did.

Mayweather did fight judah and it wasn't a challenge he systematically broke judah down. So what does that say about cotto to have been challenged by a guy that floyd beat easily?

Oscar/Floyd II wont crack 1mil buys. They had tremendous hype surrounding thier first fight, at a time when the sport was in a slump. The majority of the boxing world is against this rematch. I estimate it does in the area of 750k buys.

I don't like that fight either but it'll do 1 million in PPV buys easy for sure if de la hoya looks good vs. Forbes. They are also creating new story lines with Sr. training De la Hoya and God only know what other stories will be fabricated between now and then. With all the trash both sides will talk on 24/7 the fight will crack a 1mil ppv buys easy.

Exactly how I felt. Zab was ready to go out he was taking alot of punishment.
