Did Cotto really DESTROY Quintana???

Am I the only one that thinks Quintana was doing a decent job, perhaps even winning the fight before Cotto stopped him in the 5th round? I've watched and re-watched the fight and I thought Quintana was winning the fight up until Cotto unleashed on him. Just want to hear your thoughts if you've actually seen the fight.

Yeah I know what you mean. The fight reaired last night and I watched it again.

In a way I can see why it is thought that Cotto destroyed him. He DID break him down and knock him out.

But Quintana was doing well. I think I had the first round for Cotto, rounds 2, 3 and 4 possibly for Quintana. Though the rounds the Quintana may have been winning, Cotto's body shots here and there began to take their effect and Quintana had to do extra extra work to get out of the way as Cotto was applying good pressure.

Cotto was just too strong.

he was, but even if quintana performed at his very best and did even better than the first fight i think cotto would still break him down, and stop him late as well!

Quintana was holding his own, he might have even been in front but he got knocked out.

He did an OKAY performance but then Cotto was WAY too much for him which caused him to quit aftr getting knocked down only twice

There's a difference between getting KO'd and getting destroyed. People make it seem like Cotto was completely toying with Quintana and dominating him for 5 rounds.

Max Kellerman said that Cotto utterly destroyed Quintana and beat him up for every round of the fight. I guess he was wrong, how unsurprising.

I haven't seen the fight completely but it seemed like Quintana took Cotto's punches to the head very well but couldn't take it to the body.
