Come on people, you all know Chad would destroy Calzaghe, Hopkins, Kessler and Pavlik, all during the same night.

Dawson defended his WBC title against Jesus Ruiz, one of the weakest title contenders ever and Epifanio Mendoza, a guy who hasn't beaten anyone with a positive record.

Adamek was undefeated in 31 fights so Chad deserves credit for that win.

Fighting Glen Johnson will be a step up though Glen is 40 years old and won't help much with Chad's opponents overall win-loss records.

True. He's wanted those better fights, but has had to settle for lesser opposition. His skills are good for sure, but your right you have to question how good he is maybe just a little bit by looking at those numbers.

        Gavin Rees (351-732-45) 31%

        TOTAL (6325-3689-395) 61%

        Ricardo Torres (194-170-7) 52%
        Chad Dawson (361-416-23) 45%

Would also be interested to know if anyone can find:

        1. A current reigning world champion who has faced worse opposition than Gavin Rees
        2. Any world title winning boxer with a better level of opposition than Oscar De La Hoya
How did you do those calculations: Did you count the draws as well? For instance when I took their (wins-losses-draws)/wins=% I get different numbers than what you posted up. Like Mayweather dropped down to 78%

Whats Roy Jones opponents win % after Toney he made Joe Louis bum of the month club all seem elite.

Larry Merchant on Jones v Tarver:

Now that Jones has finished with part time teachers and refuge collectors can he still carry that level?

It is still pretty bad, most of those people were unknowns and still are. Hardly makes him look much better in all honesty.

Roy Jones was so much better than everyone.

All his fights were like watching that irritating mid 90's Man Utd team playing Swindon every week. He was the Roger Federer of Boxing. He could have fought some of those guys on the same night
