There's no way he was bad for the sport. EVERYBODY knew boxing back in the 90's and 80s, all because of Tyson. Holyfield and Lennox would also not be viewed the same if it wasn't for Tyson.

I wasn't a fan of his, but I've heard/read too many times that Tyson got someone interested in boxing not to admit that he was good for the sport.

I think Tyson was very good for the sport. Even know sane people know the ear biting incedent was horrible, It brought more attention to the sport an all publicity is good! I don't know ANYBODY that stopped watching boxing because of it. All in all his career went the way it was supposed to. **** goes the way it's meant to.
