i understand hopkins resorting to trash talking. he tried to take joe out of focus come fight night. he think that joe is just another hatton who was overwhelmed by his emotions with ugly boy floyd's badmouthing him. but joe is not ricky. this man is so calm and serious in his desire to silence the boxer who was beaten by jemain taylor twice. i can't wait watching joe making a punching bag of b-hops ugly face...

He was quiet in school, and for some reason all of his "friends" suddenly turned against him. He even had anywhere between 20 and 30 kids turn up outside his house on their bikes with the intention of ****ing him up, I'm sure Bernard terrifies him. He has dealt with bullying most of his childhood, and will be totally unfazed by Hopkins bully boy tactics. As stated earlier, it may work on weak minded fighters, but Joe is as focused as they come. I have met him on a night out in town and he even bought me a drink because I congratualted him on his win over Manfredo. Genuinely nice guy, until you piss him off. Watch out B-Hop, Joes gunna ****ing murder you.

why does every african-american who gets in front of a microphone have to speak on the past and how his people were treated, first off your a boxer, bernard, second, this country has made you rich, i dont ever here about hopkins donating to charities, or helping african-americans,third, calzaghe is going to win on points, for two reasons; joe throws too many punches for bernard to handle, and all bernard does in every fight is, throw as many as 3 punches at most,than he holds, and last he dances to much.... overall joe seems like a good person, bernard seems like a ignorant, african....

i don't know if 30 boys outside his house was true, but the bullying bit is. i saw joe in an interview once talking about don't let bullies win etc... i think it was for a school thing. he was slightly emotional about it. i guess no world champ wants to admit he was once bullied.
