    ****en guy is all class.

if i was in NYC - i'd def go to this thing.
This is very accurate. Paulie is probably the nicest, most humble guy you'd ever meet in boxing.

He has to be confident, he is a champ. Realistically this is the pinnacle of his career. Against the top guys you do need some pop and he has zero. Hatton beats him by decisions, and looking at the Ngoudjo fight and how he had him going with some awkward shots Witter KO's him.

He is fun though, he has to talk. He needs to land the big fights to secure his future.
exactly, its his hustle, and the guy does it with class and inordinate amounts of wit; 180 degrees from hopkins.

I saw him at the Pavlik fight.. he was sitting with his headband and Dan Rafael at the weigh in, no one said a word to him. Its got a lot to do with his image, but i bet he'd be more liked if he could notch a few more knockouts or even knockdowns.

I think he's be a great fighter if he had some power. He really annoys me in interviews, so I don't think I could take it in person and I would have to mess up his hair.

I disagree, obviously i havnt met him face to face or anything but ive heard loads of interviews with him and to me he doesnt seem to respect his opponents at all, whether this is all just trash talk i dont know but he hypes himself up way to much for my liking and has done nothing to back his own comments up. This is just my opinion of him though. If i ever did meet him face to face and he did turn out to be a decnt enough guy who was humble and respecting i would give him his due but until that time, i can only go by what ive seen/heard from him in the media, which so far hasnt been good

Paulie is probably the most humble, down to earth current champion I'd ever met. He talks at length with anyone and everyone and is very popular with the fans. He seems like your average kid who'd be playing video games with you or something along those lines. Not a hint of arrogance until the cameras come on, then he goes into character.

I don't usually mention a guy if I don't like him. There are more than a few guys who are *******s, and they know who they are. It's funny because guys like Floyd Mayweather and Paulie, who you'd think were *******s, turned out to be the exact opposite. Ask El Jefe de Jefes, he met them both also.

dude this post is such a contradiction it isn't funny. If someone is down to earth and humble then they are like that 100% of the time, not just when the cameras are off.
