After his last fight, where he pretty much got hit everytime his opponent threw a punch,i dont see him getting a title or anything,he looked like ****,and couldent even make the adjustments,he kinda has a bad attitude in the ring, everytime his opponent threw a punch,he was snapping Chavezs head back at will,at times he was taking him to school and Chavez barely threw a punch, too bad his opponents eye got ****ed up because i had him winning

great list of prospects Bishop... see now I know some more young guys to follow... and maybe one of em will face Vanes Martirosyan this year and we will see sparks fly huh...I like alot of prospects, but prospect that will shine in 2008?
Yuriorkis Gamboa - do i need to say why? Forget prospect,he's one of the most gifted fighters ive seen in a LONG time, hes got everything you need, perfect reflex, power, super speed, watch him this week!

Danny Jacobs - He's only had 3 fights and has already come on the Floyd-Hatton undercard and Pavlik-Taylor II undercard,he,like Gamboa,is one of the most naturaly gifted prospects,he fights like a SRL mixed with Meldrick Taylor and has a great personality, all of his KO's have been devastating, hes always on a big undercard,so you'll see him alot, and everyone will start to take notice, hes gona be a huge star in the future

Andy Lee - Kronk trained, highly skilled, irish,Stewerd has been making moves, putting him on a 1 fight a month programme, there looking to make him a champ this year and challange Pavlik, thats huge, with or without Pavlik,he will break thru this year
Peter Quillin - Hes gona be televised on the Wlad-Sultan undercard, hes a HARD puncher,if he wins in impressive fashion,i think HBO will pick him up

Mean Joe Greene - The same reason as Quillin, televised on a big fight undercard on HBO,very exciting, and could get picked up by HBO for his style

Andre Berto and Victor Ortiz are almost at championship level, and will probably be challanging this year,Ortiz for sure
not too sure about the Gamboa kid in that first pic... by the looks of it with all that gold on, I think he is already goin off track and showing lack of focus as a true hungry up and comer that should stay humble and calm.Last edited by VanesBoxing; 02-20-2008, 09:49 PM.Comment

Kevin Mitchell should do something this year. Decent speed, power.
25-0 (18 KO's) 23 years old
Fighting Carl Johansson 27-3 (19 KO's) in his next fight.
He should be fighting on a decent level now because Frank has Amir as his cash cow, so we will see how good he is.
He was described once as the 'Wayne Rooney' of boxing.
If you don't know Wayne Rooney, he's a 'Soccer' player who burst on the scene at 16 and looked to be the greatest player ever if he improved but he hasn't THAT much.Comment

It's nice this guy is finally getting the exposure he deserves. I've been keeping an eye on him and seen some of his fights on youtube, but I don't know too much about him. Does anyone know his amateur backround? I know he's from New York, has he fought Daniel Jacobs?Peter Quillin - Hes gona be televised on the Wlad-Sultan undercard, hes a HARD puncher,if he wins in impressive fashion,i think HBO will pick him up
