Technically incorrect. Any fight above 168 lb limit is Light Heavyweight, and Calzaghe has had 10.

Hopkins was 156 lbs for DLH for **** sake and Calzaghe is nearly killing himself to make 168.

Hopkins moved up because he struggled to make the 160 lbs for Middleweight, Calzaghe is moving up because he struggles to make 168 lbs do you think calzaghe can make 160? or 156?

How can you compare the Pacquiao/Mayweather with Calzaghe/Hopkins?



Joe has fought more than 9 times at Light Heavyweight according to his early career, he has struggled in the past to make 168, where as Hopkins has always fought at 160, and was 156 vs DLH, can Calzaghe even make 160 yet alone 156? Height and reach stats are deceiving, Kessler has a 10 inch lesser reach than Paul Williams, Is 2 inches Shorter, and Williams started at 156 pounds while Kessler started at 152 pounds, but surely Williams isn't bigger than Kessler?

Now Pacquiao started at 106 lbs and is currently fighting 24 lbs above where he started, its like comparing apple and oranges.

Those fights were all pretty much in his early career before even becoming a champion. Besides, like RUNwK said, Hopkins is visibly bigger, is taller, has longer reach then Joe.
