Whatever. I have no problem agreeing with this.

      Not really
      I'm not being biased.
Point I'm making is that Hopkins has fought the biggest names in boxing, albeit fighters moving up , and he has won.
I don't see same calibre fighters on Calzaghe's resume.
Calzaghe has been fighting in his backyard his whole career.
All the current p4p fighters have fought in the US, which makes me question Calzaghe's level.

          That's a good question.
Answer is Hopkins has been a middleweight, whereas Calzaghe has fought at SMW.
So it's really hard to say who will have beaten Cal since most of them were below his weight level..

er havent people said that paul willaims should move up?

anyway if you put oscar or trinidad with calzaghe do you think they would beat him? assuming calz made 160 which i think he can although 168 is abit hard for him also.
yeah but you discredit every boxer with that.. smaller get credit if he win but the bigger go don't

So Mayweather should get no credit for never fighting outside of his backyard, correct?

                Excellent point, Roger.

Well, do you not agree with me, that the USA is the mecca of boxing, and that's where legends are made??
Sorry but when I see a world champion who hasn't fought in the US, it definitely doesn't put him in the same light as one who has.

Sheika never won a world title and lost to a fighter with a losing record, and got a gift decision off Glen Johnson who was on a terrible losing streak, and this was all before he fought Calzaghe.

Woodhall had been floored 3 times by Markus Beyer and got a terrible beating off Keith Holmes a fighter Hopkins handled easily.

Reid was not long coming off losing to a 40+ Thulani Malinga.

Most of Calzaghe's best opponent's were either shot or shorlt coming off bad losses, and i love how people discredit Hopkins for beating Tito, But forget he was one of the top P4P fighters in the sport at that time and was the favorite to beat Hopkins.
