Valuev will beat Chagaev in the rematch

I pick Valuev..because.. his Boxing has improved to the point.. that unless you have considerable size yourself.. you are NOT going to get past that jab..and when you do,, you better be able to hurt him... as Valuev's confidence grows.. he seems to be getting a mean streak as well..Comment

I predicted the first fight almost round by round. I don't know what that adds to this, but I did.
Valuev didn't really "figure Chagaev out." I knew Chagaev would take the early rounds because he can't be hit with straight rights unless they are very fast. It's just that Valuev's size and the small ring eventually work against the counterpuncher. It's got to be exhausting to have that oaf in front of you for that long.
Valuev looks better, but he's never going to have the handspeed and coordination to avoid getting an overhand left everytime he throws his right, and his jab just isn't fast or accurate enough to control a smart, skilled fighter.Comment

I can't help but think that Chagaev's hepatitis is affecting his conditioning. That said, I think Valuev decisions him in the rematch.Comment

In the first fight Valuev didint tie chagaev up enough that was his problem and he let him get into close and didint jab enough. Valuev hasnt shown his power yet and he needs to throw the right hand more oftenComment

I hope valuev wins. Ive lost all respect for chageav. first he ducks out of a fight with sultan,,,then fights mighty matt skelton. now it looks to be luan krasniqui. he's really not even an undefeated fighter. virchis owned him from what I hearComment

I like Chageav when he beat valuev but since then he has annoyed me, Chageav was so poor in his last performace that at the moment i would pick valuev to win a UD, i know its hard to look good against skelton but even so it was a rubbish performance.Comment
