    What does the all time greats all have in common ,,,,, they have all been bested in sparring at some point , happened to them happens to all fighters .

        Yeah An Knowing Who Someone Is Sparring With Is Nothing. Fighters Always Know Who The Other Fighter Is Sparring With. JUST OOK AT DLH SPARRING WITH MOSELY AND FLOYD SHOWING HIS SPARRING PARTNER ON HBO AND JERMAIN SHOWING HIS TRAINING JUST DAYS BEFORE THE FIGHT

          If Juan is having trouble with this kid, I'm not so sure about his chances in this fight any more.

          Many times Muhammad Ali used to look like crap in the gym before some of his best performances. Boxers are like racehorses, sometimes their workouts mean a lot and other times they mean nothing. Some fighters just don't come to life until the bright lights are on.

                    Yeah, I guess you're right. There was a vid on youtube a while back showing Mayweather getting schooled a bit by a sparring partner (I think it was very early in training camp and Floyd collapsed after it was over,) which ended up proving absolutely nothing.
