Maybe, but I don't think he could adapt to Hatton's pressure.

I think Clottey would beat Cintron and destroy Berto though.

I'm not too sure about destroy.....But I'd favor Clottey over Berto at this point. In another year I might not.

The division is too big and strong right now for Hatton. In other eras he might have done better, but he just isn't a good fit there right now. With his size he would need Cotto like power to stay in there with the bigger welters.

HE did look worse as a ww than as a jww and the reason is simple: quality of the opposition. That's the only factor. The moment you see Hatton getting bullied you can say crazy stuff like that but until then Hatton is just as fit as Cotto, Margarito or Citron or Mayweather to hang in there. Ok Margarito is bigger than the rest. WOW how will Cotto get by MArgarito? Arum should quickly make that fight disapear
Quite simple Hattons style is to come forward and Floyd is no welterweight , they are both Jnr welters and people need to realize that ,,, Floyd can only hang at welter because he has so much ability .

Hatton got exposed by Floyd , Ricky is a product of public appeal and matchmaking , Kostya was old Castillo was old , Luis is 2nd tier and nearly beat him and rest on his resume were nobodys or washed up , they will feed him some easy fights again then he will get stopped again with the first elite in prime fighter he meets .

If he can't handle Mayweather's power, then every welter knocks him out.

Tend to agree...............except Clottey and Quintana.

Although I agree with Rae, in that Clottey would trouble him. I mean the guy is flat out no slouch and is always in great fighting shape.
