    Just Re-Watched PAVLIK-MIRANDA... 2 things...

First of all, Pavlik has visibly improved.

He probably went crazy in the gym before the Taylor fights and you can tell. He is much more polished now and more accurate. Against Miranda he was really wild and almost outta control. And he was missing a lot in the early rounds.

And Second of all, looking at how Pavlik can box like he did against Taylor in 2 consecutive fights, its really wierd to see Pavlik go for broke and brawl against Miranda.

Rewatch the fight, it seems like pavlik is almost out of character in the MIranda fight. lol.

i think he risked it against miranda because miranda had zero defense. Pavlik also didnt feel miranda's poweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer.

Hell no! Miranda had nothing in his punches that night. When is the last time you saw Taylor hurt someone with one punch???

Watch Edison's walk to the ring that night against Pavlik. He was so out of character, you could tell he was not himself. The dunb**** should have called of the fight earlier in the week when he knew he was not going to be able to make weight.

Yeah you could see in this second Taylor fight Pavlik was blocking punches a lot better and even slipping some. He's definitely improved and he probably knew he had to.

Miranda wasn't able to land any bombs in that fight, although he did stagger Pavlik with a stiff jab. Pavlik was the one landing everything he threw.

And even then, he still had enough to make it so Pavlik's face showed he'd been in a fight the day after IIRC.

wait for Pavlik to get his left hook the body going. The style he has now the basic jab right hand mixing in some uppercuts rights is good but if he fully adds this to his arsenal of devastating weapons he's gong to be hard to beat jab, left hook the body, double jab, right hand, It will be devastating.
