OK let's start this off. Zab had 3 of the 4 world championship belts. Lost to Baldomir who only payed sanctioning fees for the WBC belt. Fought Zab who only had the IBF belt and than vacated. So Floyd kept the WBC while the other two were vacated and Marg was left out of the mix. Something tells me you know this and have a hidden agenda though.

Because boxing is the only sport where you can have more than "1 champion" because Title orgs need to milk fighters and collect all the sanctioning fees amongst other things they possibly can.
