I think Calzaghe is the best SMW ever.

The great win over Toney along with some solid wins still rank Roy highly in the division but I wouldn't put him over Calzaghe.

Toney had good wins but the humiliating loss to Roy Jones drop his rank.

I wouldn't rate Eubank, Benn and Collins over Calzaghe at SMW.
The difficult part is rating Toney, he seemed to peak for only a short period of time but when he did he was great. I'm leaning towards Joe on that one. Peak Roy is another matter, I'm just pissed off we never got to see it.

        LOL!

Another British tactic: If someone doesn't lick Calslappy's balls like most Brits, call him a whitey hater, even if he's pretty much white himself!

Face it, your God is overrated by fans like you.

I doubted Joe prior Kessler but was very impressed with him in that fight and am a convert , Lacy was hyped and was out classed because he was just not up to his hype , no fault of Joes but Lacy was what he was , Kessler I feel would KO Lacy .

As far as the best of all time at 168 ,,, hmmmm , my money would be on prime Roy Jones to beat Joe , I think Roy at 168 would stop Kessler but these are things we will never know , Joes resume has many old faded fighters and middle of the road euros on it not saying he couldnt beat the best at the time ( except Roy ) but fact is he didnt , the step he is making now really should have been made years ago but Warren did not want to risk his cash cow , again no fault of Joes , its hard to see a 43 yr old Hopkins beating him but if he does Joes legacy is well and truly out the window , in the other thread where Joes states he would go down to Pavliks weight , now that would impress me more than beating Hopkins unless he just blows old Bhop away I see the win as really shallow with everything to lose and nothing really to gain as anyway you carve it Bhop is an old man .

I agree but RJJ reallly just used SMW as a stepping stone between MW and LHW he didnt stay there long enough to be ranked as one of the best IMO

If he had stayed and had more fights there maybe but Joe has dominated the division for so long i say joe is the number 1 SMW

Why do you care so much? I mean you post more about him than most Calzaghe fans do!

I think we could have seen a trilogy of Jones vs Calzaghe fights.
