    Ring Generalship & effective aggresiveness

does anyone listen to Harold Lederman when he reads out the rules etc

Effective agrresivness : Pavlik was not effectively aggressive he missed lots of punches & got tagged lots of times

Ring Generalship :Taylor he outskilled Kelly he was to quick for him ,hit him with the cleaner punches ,countered him very well throughout the fight ,showed good defensive skills in evading punches ,went to the body effectively ,had the better Jab

maybe Taylor should have been busy hitting thin air like Pavlik and coming foward missing and getting countered by accurate shots lol ,WTF were u guys watching who though Pavlik won the fight

Agreed man. You sound like a good guy.

It is not effective aggresiveness walking through punches and trying to chase Taylor to the ropes, throwing the same two punches at the same time.

Taylor stays off him makes Pavlik miss and counters effectively. Soem judges just follow the aggressor. Boxing needs new judges.

Yep. Taylor did pretty good early.

Pavlik landed twice as many punches and the only one who was really hurt in the fight was Taylor.

not that badly since he hit taylor twice as much! you guys need to get over it! the **** is over, he lost 2x. kelly is just the better man! this **** is old! good fight that was close, but pavlik won! why don't you mention how taylor threw a mere 37 punches per rd. less than a ****ing heavy! or how he was gassed out after 7 and did ****! or how he was most likely saved in the 11th by the bell and was on his way to another ko. well, why? wanna blame somebody? blame taylor, he lost! not pavlik, or the judges, jermaine ****ing taylor! this is the problem with much of people today, they look to pass the buck, blame everything, and everyone, yet they fail to ever take responsiblity for their actions, and point the finger at the one that really matters and who controls their destiny. it's called manning the **** up!!!!!!!!! lost art!

Pavlik face was just as marked up

its like this Hopkins did'nt get started in the 1st Taylor fight & he lost the first half of the fight ,yet he finished strongly & hurt Taylor towards then end but that does'nt change the fact he gave away to many rounds and left it to late to claw it back

the same thing applys here ,I agree Pavlik finished strongly i thought he won the last 2 rounds maybe even ther last 3, but however strong u finish that does 'nt erradicate all the rounds u have lost ,the rounds your oponent has in the bank Taylor won 6 rounds at the very least to have gotten at least a draw let alone the win he desereved IMO

Jack Loew knew Taylor was incharge the 1st half of the fight thats why he was telling Pavlik that he was gonna tire etc
