Kelly Pavlik's Stock.

It goes down a little bit but the expectations for him were extremely high as he was supposed to defeat Taylor by an emphatic KO. His streak of devastating stoppages ended last night. This is the first time he's been on TV where he didn't score a knockout.
He did do alot of good things yesterday though, going 12 very strongly, good boxing. Taylor isn't definitely no pushover.

I'm still not sure what will actually happen to Pavlik's stock. I think it should go up, but it probably won't. He might have to wait for a possible knockout over Duddy for that.
Taylor, on the other hand, seems to have had quite a stock increase despite the loss.

I think it rose. I would have never picked Kelly to outbox or win a decision against Taylor. Knowing that he has the in his options now, is good to know. He's not just big puncher who has to KO his opponent all the time to win.

I think his stock went up. He showed he could fight 12 full rounds, something he's never done before. He fought Jermain at a weight that benefited Taylor, Jermain fought the fight of his life, and Pavlik still won. The fact that Kelly didn't look his best (seemed like his hands, especially his right were hurt to me) and still beat a very good fighter in Taylor speaks volumes. And all this at 25 years old, come on.
