I bet Tito would make 160 for De La Hoya money.

It was always about weight and money. Trinidad doesn't fear Oscar even a little bit.Comment

Umm..... no. It has always been Oscar who didn't want the fight for whatever reasons, Tito has always been ready. As for Tito, I think many of you guys are underestimating Trinidad here. He will struggle against guys like Hopkins, Winky, and Roy, but he will be alot better against a guy like Pavlik who will stand in front of him and trade. Not saying that he will win at this point in his career, but he should look much better than the crafty defensive fighters listed above.Comment

thats why oscar was begging tito for so many years.
tito acted like he was the bigger draw which is BS oscar will alwasy be the biggest draw of the welters.
it would of been another easy big payday for tito, but he didnt take it because he was scared thats the truth,,,if he wasnt scared he would of took that fight easy but he didnt wanna lose to a mexicano who this time would of went for the ko instead of cruise the last 3 rounds.Comment

Tito didn't look bad against Jones, you motha****az is crazy. Trinidad got it in for the better half of the fight which was the first half, Roy had to switch up and bring that Winky ****, he confused Trinidad and in turn neutralized him which is how you beat Tito, you have to get inside his head and he'll follow. for as long as the fight against Jones was a FIGHT and not 1 hit 1 due to superior skills Trinidad got the best of it, Pavlik is NO Roy Jones Jr. even now I think Roy Jones is a harder fight than Pavlik for any Middleweight, for Taylor or Pavlik yo you can pick I'm just telling you Roy Jones is a harder fight because he can take what they give and still stay competitive. Glen caught him flush, Tarver caught him flush and with a flush shot ANYONE falls but Jones has shown in his last 3 fights that he can still get down.
Pavlik comes fourth or back, JUST like Trinidad except Trinidad is a smarter fighter. Pavlik is very straight forward he just has a VERY difficult style to tame but someone like Trinidad who when he lets his hands go with power and punches in bunches he can tame him, he can test that gut and crack his chin too. it's just the perfect fight for Tito ESPECIALLY at 168. Tito can get threw to him, he can penetrate and punish just as much as Pavlik can do it to him. Pavlik don't do that defensive holding back **** he lets it drop and Trinidad NEEDS a fighter like him to let loose and **** out. The Boxers who beat him all brought game plans that Pavlik under an intense surge of combat just wont bring, he's too much of a warrior and this allows him to be hittable for Trinidad at all times, VERY hittable so all Tito has to do is punch and PLUS Kelly doesn't move around like that so he wont be too hard to find AS IS Tito. either way it makes for a GREAT fight and I would love to see it, I think Trinidad stands a better chance at beating Kelly Pavlik at 168 than he did against a Roy Jones Jr at 170.Comment

at whatever catch weight, pavlik will pulverized trinidad no end. tito is a spent force. nothing can be squeezed from him anymore. he belongs to the early retirees in boxing. and you fools should stop thinking of a possible fight with delahoya, oscar has nothing to prove with trinidad.Comment
