Taylor should have stuck with his jab. I think after he took a big right hand in round 1 he got more defensive and changed his mind quick about his revenge plan.

I was there live and thought Taylor won...i had him ahead in scorecards after the 8th-9th and i called a friend to see how lederman had it and it was opposite i was like wtf? but i can see how Pavlik could win, but not 117-111...thats absurd.

I see taylor only averaged 38 punches per round to pavs 70.,hard to see how JT could have won that fight unless he averaged a ridiculously high %age of them or hurt pav every time he landed. I'll have to watch this fight for myself,,,but from the punch stats and everything Ive read from good sources,,,it looks like no controversey

to me most of the punches Kelly threw were landing on gloves.....Taylor did like 39% to Kellys 32? 37?

Taylor was clearly robbed but we have enough threads about this fight already.

I thought Pavlik won because of his activity, Taylor didn't do enough to win some of the rounds for me, having a burst of activity isn't going to win you a fight against a guy that works for 3 minutes of every round.

Pavlik came to fight, Taylor came to win if that makes any sense. He didn't seem exactly sure how to go about doing that though. He sure as hell was determined not to press even as he got out worked every round.
