Will Calzaghe and Pavlik or Taylor ever fight each other? Or is Calzaghe going to fight Clinton Woods which is a lame ass fight in my opinion.

****ing john duddy, and trinidad what kind of crap is that. Trinidad is a tiny ass dude. And John Duddy doesn't have any experience against any decent boxer, he has only fought half assed boxers and still didn't look too impressive.

Arum wants to milk his champ and make him a star.

It is frustrating and I almost wish Taylor was still champ. Now Taylor on the other hand they wanted to keep from guys his own size, for obvious reason. But his first five defenses were against better comp. than what Arum seems to be planning.

Trinidad was a GOOD, not great, MW challenger in 2001. Duddy will never even be that

Pavlik needs to fight Abraham by this time next year, at the absolute latest.

Taylor had his chance to fight Calzaghe and ran to the hills!

Yeah man, Arum is trying to make him a star. Pavlik has fought a lot of tough dudes on his way to becoming champ. Trinidad is a good fight for him. Some people are never satisfied.

Yeah, the biggest two names on Pavliks resume as of now are Taylor and Miranda. I don't count Zertuche as a big name because I'm pretty sure taylor or miranda would have beaten him as well. It's funny though cause in interviews I've seen with pavlik he hypes up zertuche a little too much, zertuche is decent but far from being a good boxer compared to taylor and miranda. Abrahams is a good name to go after, but I don't think he'll take that fight. I think Arum wants his boy to take on smaller opponents like trinidad and duddy.

The thing is Pavlik would fight better fighters than Duddy and probably a green Andy Lee. Bob Arum is big on taking the least risk with the biggest reward EXCEPT when people do it to his fighters. Which, I mean is what it is. That said, I'm pretty sure Pavlik himself is not scared of anyone in the ring. Arum may not want him to fight Abraham and that's why it wouldn't happen. I, like many of you, would like to see that fight, but I doubt that we will.

abrahams is very good and very underrated. Both have alot of power to hurt each other. Abrahams had a broken jaw against Miranda and still beat Miranda, and Miranda was cheating and crap in that fight doing head butts and got alot of point deducted. I don't understand crazy rabid nutt hugging Miranda fans that are so blind to see how many times Miranda tried to cheat in that fight with low blows and head butts to think he actually won it.

Well said, Kelly is an absolutely fearless brawler. Even when he was getting pounded he was not unwilling to get pounded some more. But he's going to fight whoever Arum says and that's going to be very strategically chosen.

The Abraham fight would be a pick'em, and Arum is not risking losing the MW lineage to a German promoter.

Abraham will fight Pavlik this year. It will be a great fight.

Duddy is a safe defense after 3 tough fights, like Taylor's defense against Kassim Ouma.

Trinidad is an old legend against the younger, bigger, stronger man Pavlik and I don't really want to see it because Trinidad has already taken enough punches for 2-3 careers.
From what I've heard it's not signed yet so I won't say much about it.
