Alot of people are posting incorrect information in this thread. Trust me, the source of true punching power is in the legs, with a focus on the thighs. Arms, biceps, pecs, etc are no indication of punching power. Its all in the legs. Any boxing trainer or 2nd will tell you. It starts in the legs, and culminates in the swivel of the body to the direction of the punch and the extension of the arm. Just my 2 cents. I know boxing.

If you look at Lacy's punching technique, he arcs and gets a lot more from his hips than his upper body, and his KD hooks are all hip - no real arm extension.

Legs, by far, end of discussion. You can have the biggest arms in the world and my full rotation punches will still be harder than your arm punches.

I think hard punchers in boxers are ppl with big shoulders, what do you think? Like, I don't think it has to do with someone having super big arms, but just the shoulder muscles
