I dont see Quintana beating Margarito, he would try to outbox him but I dont think He could take Margaritos punches after a couple rounds.

I agree, Quintana sucks against power punchers like Cotto and Margarito, he could beat Cintron.

Quintana can win this if he boxes Shane properly, with Shane you need to keep that jab in his face all day, if he can do that and keep his distance, set up a steady and comfortable pace for himself and cruise for 12. it can happen, good tall Boxers beat Mosley twice a piece and Quintana is another good, tall Boxer who can really fight. he ain't no sucker neither he got power too ya dig he ain't feather fisted, I ain't saying he will hurt Shane, even though anything IS possible, but all he has to do is halt him whenever he gets too hype, make his neck jerk back everytime he leaps forward.. much easier said than done, I know. but one thing about Mosley is that much like De La Hoya they become somewhat like a dream opponent for good technical Boxers, great ring technicians once they blow they cool, it ALWAYS happens though so if Quintana got another scrap like that left in him it would be wise to use that with Mosley cuz even at 37 he's a problem..

I will say this though Mosley will not only be preferred but if he can force a fight from Quintana, put him in a position any exchange is real ugly and push him back Mosley will beat him. Mosley ain't Williams yo Mosley will hit with punches that aim to hurt. a 3-4 punch combo of hard punches from Mosley and a 10 punch combo of pitter pat, what hurts more? I'd say the power punches, they take the most out of you and if you got a guy who can just leap underneath you and destroy your body and face with those punches for the COMPLETE 12 and is as tough as Shane you got a problem. Quintana can do it but Shane got himself some tricks so if Quintana ain't ready to fight another Williams style fight he's done...100

what does margarito have to do with all this?



i dont like shanes chances anymore against top competition... after watching the cotto fight... yes it was close... but shane was getting hit a lot.. he wasnt getting off like he used too... he wasnt moving in and out, or using a lot of head movement like he used too... im just not sure

shane took cotto to his limits. yeah shane got hit but mainly with jabs. not to mention he ate them licks. he wasnt rocked or wobbled in the fight. shaned looked way fresher than cotto by the end of the fight. cotto really couldnt handle shane but he had him timed. hats why shane didnt get off like we thought he would
