He would've lost to Glen Johnson, James Toney, Trinidad, Antwun Echols, William Joppy, and definitely Roy Jones.

The point I'm making is that Pavlik has proved doubters wrong at every opportunity possible, and people like you still find a way to simply shrug him off like he's nothing. Let's say he fights Winky, and he proves you wrong and beats him. Who is going to take Pavliks belt at 160? Abraham? No. Sturm? No. Anyone who Taylor fought, like Spinks or Ouma? No way. John Duddy? No. Name me someone, besides an aging Winky Wright (whom I do not think can beat Pavlik, not at this stage of the game. Pavlik is young, and his punches would eventually penetrates winky's defense. How would winky win when his hands are covering his face for all but 10 seconds of every round?) who's going to challenge Pavlik. I mean really beat Pavlik decisively at 160... who?

The Great White vs The Turtle. That should be the title of the fight b/w Pavlik and Winky.

How does a win by knock out somehow turn into "barely edged out a win". I mean, let's be serious.... If Pavlik doesn't stick his chin out at JT in the 2nd round, then this conversation never happens. The only reason Pavlik went down in that fight, was because he got ****y. Not because of JTs skills.

Just cause Winky covers up well against former lightweights and welterweights in Mosley, Trinidad and Quartey does not mean he covers up well against natural middleweights. I mean he fought Taylor he probably deserved to win but he got hit plenty. He didn't block Bernard's shots that much either. Mind you both of these guys throw half as much as Pavlik and not nearly with the same bade intentions.
Pavlik destroys Winky just like he did Bronco. Bronco fought Winky 3 times, he's bigger than Winiky, he's a southpow and he has the exact same defense as Winky.

Pavlik carries a steel in his hands, no way a turtle withstands 100 shots a round from Kelly

If Wright is going to stand in front of him and he will because that's he he fights, being there flatfooted he's going to the piss knocked out of him good. I hope this fight happens Winky Wright is overrated. I know that word gets throw around all the time but he really is.

I think Winky would pull off the upset, even though he would be a heavy underdog IMO.
