Dont you think that if Floyd was waiting for Cotto to become a bigger name, he would've just came out and said it? Floyd had no problem telling Margarito that he will fight him in the future, when it has the potential to be a much bigger fight. U guys hold every other boxer to thier word, yet when Floyd speaks, its always "oh he's just saying that because..........."

Floyd did everything he needed to do in the sport. hes got nothing more to prove after rematchin oscar and taxing him. cotto and his team turned Floyd down. then they call him out... after he said hes retired unless theres alotta $ involved. thats only coming from oscar. no reason to fite cotto. plus it would be like the baldy or hatton fite all over again.

That being said, how can floyd benefit from fighting cotto? What has cotto done to deserve a fight with floyd, when has he shocked the world as floyd has done many times.
