Barrera announced his retirement after losing a twelve-round decision to Manny Pacquiao last October. It took a few short months before Barrera began making plans for a return. [details]

He should stay retired. But if they do fight, it'll be a good one.

No good for boxing at all. He is trying to compensate deteriorated speed, reflexes and stamina by size advantage just like DLH did vs PBF. But PBF had his skills and versatility, Vasquez hasn't.

A 122 pounder is going to KO a guy who withstood Pacquiao at 130 in his last fight?

vazquez has KO power and if he is looking for a fight with vazquez it may at a catch weight, vazquez is a hard puncher and just knows how to come foward, it probably will at a catch-weight

I doubt it'll be at a catchweight, he's been talking of moving up to 126 or 130.

But you can't really be suggesting that Vazquez punches harder than Pacquiao can you?

Pacquiao is a hard puncher and all he does is come forward.

Even if it is at a catchweight, Barrera is still a big guy coming down, so his chin probably won't shrink if you catch my drift.

He stopped Larios one fight before Larios went the distance with Pacquiao, he is a much better boxer than manny and does carry a lot of power, I doubt it's more power but he is able to get his hands on guys more than manny when they box.
